Hello!

I hope you’re having a wonderful week! I’m finally starting to get into routine after a fun but busy two weeks of traveling for the Nebula Conference, then having company stay with me for a few days. As much as I love adventure, I’m glad to be back home and into my revisions.

I missed my giant iced coffees while I was away! And yes, there is a story behind the googly eyes on my headphones 😂

Aside from the conference and the company, I’ve been quieter than usual on social media as I’m deep into revisions for two of my projects. One project is turning my novella, The Hazel Fae, into a full-length novel. I had so much fun writing this steampunk Cinderella retelling for a limited anthology, Once Upon a Winter, but the word count constraint meant that I had to drop an entire subplot. A critique group I was invited into during the Nebula Conference will be looking at my new opening chapter later this week. I’m excited about the progress the story is making!

Progress is also happening on my other major WIP, but it’s taking a little bit longer as it’s a new romantasy series featuring lost magic, perilous adventure, and steampunk vibes. I can’t wait to share more about it when it’s ready!
