New Books for Your Summer TBR! ๐โ๏ธ๐
The Hazel Fae gets an update + fairy tales, myths, romantasy, and more inside! ๐
Hello!
I hope youโre having a wonderful week! Iโm finally starting to get into routine after a fun but busy two weeks of traveling for the Nebula Conference, then having company stay with me for a few days. As much as I love adventure, Iโm glad to be back home and into my revisions.
Aside from the conference and the company, Iโve been quieter than usual on social media as Iโm deep into revisions for two of my projects. One project is turning my novella, The Hazel Fae, into a full-length novel. I had so much fun writing this steampunk Cinderella retelling for a limited anthology, Once Upon a Winter, but the word count constraint meant that I had to drop an entire subplot. A critique group I was invited into during the Nebula Conference will be looking at my new opening chapter later this week. Iโm excited about the progress the story is making!
Progress is also happening on my other major WIP, but itโs taking a little bit longer as itโs a new romantasy series featuring lost magic, perilous adventure, and steampunk vibes. I canโt wait to share more about it when itโs ready!
In the meantime, Iโm participating in two group promos this week! Both Fairy Tales & Myths Retold and Romantasy feature my steampunk standalone, Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast. Check out these stories below by clicking on the banners:
Iโm also swapping newsletter mentions this week with other authors. Check out this new anthology, Genie in a Bottle!
From the blurb:
Do you wish that you could have a genie?
When given three wishes, what would you wish for? Wealth, Health, Happiness, Freedom?
