One Day Only 99c EPIC Book Blast and... 💖⚙️📚
ONE WEEK UNTIL TESLACON!!! (I should start packing...)
Hello! I’m taking a break from finalizing my upcoming panels for TeslaCon (next week! I need to get all my steampunk outfits ready 😲) to share today’s 99c Book Blast hosted by FaRo Society! You can find 300+ fantasy romance, paranormal romance, and monster books on sale for 99c by clicking the banner below or checking out the link here.
My book, Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast, is also part of the sale! If you’re new here, here is the blurb:
Author of strange steampunk and inverted fairy tales, Kelsey Josephson’s stand-alone fairy-tale retelling of Beauty and the Beast set in a fantasy world with steam-powered airships, sentient automatons, and slow-burn romance.
An unconventional beauty, a tormented beast, and the ether that binds their fate…
After her own father sells her to the Ringmaster, Belle thinks she’ll spend the rest of her days performing strongwoman stunts until she succumbs to her ether-poisoning, a deadly condition that has disfigured her appearance and given her unnatural strength. A chance encounter with a beast by her solitary campfire changes everything.
With fractured memories of the horrific experiments that transformed his body, Beast’s only desire is to escape his creator. When he encounters the camp of the Circus Illume, a strange but kind woman awakens what’s left of his humanity...and unwittingly leads to his capture.
Belle hatches a daring escape plan to free them both, but freedom is fragile. With both the Ringmaster and Beast’s creator pursuing them, Belle and Beast must learn to trust strangers and the complicated desires of their hearts.
Separate from the FaRo Society 99c Book Blast, I’ve decided to also put Monsters and Machines: A Strange Happenings Collection in a Kindle Countdown Deal for 99c! These stories are my love letter to Frankenstein, Nikola Tesla, automatons, and women in STEM (all the things I hold dear.) While this book is not a romance, my characters love each other and relationships are at the core of the stories. (I can’t help myself. I love writing relationships of all kinds! Sci-fi, fantasy, and steampunk are three of my favorite genres, but for me, all the cool machinery and magic mean nothing if there is no heart to the story.)
Monsters, mad science, and recklessly brave women collide in an unforgettable trip to the 1893 World’s Fair.
Fireman Rosie dreams of attending the Columbian Exposition for a glimpse of her hero, Nikola Tesla. When she is assigned to an overnight train bound for Chicago, she jumps at the chance. Her shift takes a dark turn when a peculiar trunk is discovered, and a passenger goes missing. Caught in a nightmare, Rosie must use her wit and courage to uncover the truth behind the mysterious cargo before more passengers disappear.
Strange Happenings is a series of short stories set in an alternate timeline, where steampunk technology clashes with the monstrous. The Monsters and Machines collection brings together five tales of mystery, horror, and adventure:
Something Happened on the Way to the World’s Fair
The Blood is Life
The Living Metal Man
The Assistant
The Resurrection Experiment
That’s it from me! I need to get back to making my presentations for TeslaCon pretty for next week. You can check out my full list of panels and a sneak peek of the new stickers I’m bringing with me by checking out last week’s newsletter. I’m so excited to see everyone at TeslaCon soon!
Happy reading!
