BTS of the Fall Boozy Book Fest + Pre-Orders Closing in 7 days! 📚
Happy Friday! I had a wonderful time at the Fall Boozy Book Fest last weekend! I loved spending the day meeting readers and hanging out with fellow author Angela Funk during the event. I’m so thankful for Mars Cafe for hosting us and for Shelf Love DSM, Nos Books, and Lucky Horse for organizing the event! I’d love to do this again.
The book fest was an amazing success, so much so that I had to immediately reorder books for my conventions next month! Local readers, if you missed me at the Fall Boozy Book Fest, Shelf Love DSM is now stocking signed copies of Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast on their store shelves. I spotted my book on the display in this pic on their Facebook page! 💖

Sneak Peek at All Things TeslaCon!
I can’t believe how soon TeslaCon is coming! When I’m not working on revisions, I’ve been finalizing my presentations. My notes about real folktale scholars arguing about the actual existence of fairies has cracked me up. I can’t wait to talk about it during my Fairies, Folklore & Superstitions of the Later Victorian Age panel!
Before I get to my schedule, here are the new stickers I’m debuting at the steampunk convention. These are vinyl, perfect for Kindles and laptops. They feature quotes from Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast, and also a tiny Nikola Tesla, because I very rarely see him on anything. (I’d love to have Nikola Tesla and Ada Lovelace action figures for my office to go with my Leonardo da Vinci one, but no such luck yet.)
