🚨 Book club is THIS SUNDAY!! Come join us 📚
Happy almost-fall (and almost-spring to my friends in Australia!) I’m torn between wanting to jump straight into fall coziness and savoring all the sunlight that I can now. I’m not thrilled about the heat, but I’m also not looking forward to shorter daylight hours or freezing.
My compromise has been to get outside while I can and put up a few early Halloween decorations inside. (Parts of my house, especially my office, already look like Halloween year-round. At last count, I think there’s something like 13+ skeletons and skulls in my office mixed in with my books and steampunk trinkets.)
When I haven’t been buried in revisions and other projects, I’ve been escaping the humidity by playing a lot of board games! Recently, my copy of Kinfire Council arrived. I’m excited to play this soon! I love the lore book and all the art in these games.
