Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast is coming to Temporal Textual Talks! 🎉
Hello from my writing cave! Between revisions, dabbling in new projects, visiting new bookstores, and adventuring with my family, this summer has been flying by.
This week, I have fun news about an amazing new romantasy event coming this fall and a reminder that my steampunk fairy tale retelling, Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast, is this month’s book club pick for Temporal Textual Talks! Scroll down to read about both upcoming events.
I’m an attending author at Fables and Flames! 🎉
I'm so excited to be an attending author at Fables and Flames Romantasy Gala! This new event is in Bloomington, Minnesota, and takes place Nov 21st-23rd, 2025. I had a wonderful time meeting some of the organizers during DemiCon and can’t wait to see their vision come to life this fall! I’ll have a table with my books and other bookish goodies.

I can’t wait to check out all the activities at Fables and Flames! (The temptation to come back with more tattoos and cats is strong, but I don’t think my Hazel and Willow would take the latter very well. 😂) Come join us!
Join me for book club?
I’m so excited that Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast, is August’s book club pick! Temporal Textual Talks is a steampunk book club hosted by Madame Askew and Bill Bodden. It takes places virtually every month, with readers from across different time zones. I love attending as a reader because the discussions are both hilarious and full of interesting insights.
Book club will be discussing Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast on Sunday, August 24th, at 6:30 pm Central time and I’ll be in attendance. Here is the link to RSVP to the free event on Zoom. I’d love it if you joined live, but if you can’t make it, the discussion will be uploaded to YouTube at a later date. You don't have to finish reading Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast to participate, but there may be spoilers. Come join us! 💖⚙️📚
