I hope you’re having a fantastic week! I’ve been enjoying cooler weather while making steady progress on my books. In a funny twist of fate, not long after I sent last week’s newsletter about steampunk events, I received an acceptance email from Romance Con inviting me to be one of their signing authors! After some rearranging of my schedule, I’ll be heading to Milwaukee for Romance Con next month! 🎉
Romance Con is Friday, September 6th, through Saturday, September 7th at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I’ll have a table with copies of Forsaken Beauty and the Etherbeast in the Signing Hall from 2 pm - 6 pm both days. I might bring a few copies of Monsters and Machines, but it depends on if I can get author copies on time. I’m still sold out from the last few events I’ve done, even after reorders!
I’m also going to try my hand at friendship bracelets to trade for at this event! I noticed in the Facebook group for Romance Con attendees that several readers and some authors are planning on bringing bracelets. This is my first strictly books con, so I’m not sure if this is a common thing, but I think it’ll be fun! I’m so excited for the panels, signing hall, and the masquerade on Saturday night!
